In Memory of Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor

My heart goes out to her family and loved ones. She will be missed! Elizabeth Taylor was a gorgeous lady with an impeccable style. She is well known for her support for AIDS cure and prevention. She is also know to have 8 husbands. Many wondered why she married so often, she replied: "I don’t know, honey. It sure beats the hell out of me."
I am also loving the outfit she is wearing above. Simple yet elegant and timeless.

I have personally yet to see her in any movies but would like to some day.

Have any of you seen her movies? Which ones do your recommend?

"It's not the having, it's the getting." -- Elizabeth Taylor

  1. I've only seen a couple of her movies. I am very interested in seeing Cleopatra!

  2. i love her and am so saddened by her passing away. my heart goes out to her family as well. this is a lovely picture you chose of her. who's afraid of virginia woolf? is one of my favorite movies. her acting is impeccable. what a great talent.

  3. Elizabeth Taylor was such a style icon. "Elephant Walk" was always one of my fav Taylor films (that and Ivanhoe). It's sad that both her and Jane Russell are gone. Old Hollywood was so glamorous. So sad that she is gone. <3 H

  4. Embarrassingly, I've never seen one of her films although she is a gorgeous actress from what I've seen in pictures!

  5. She was so beautiful. And such a strong character who should be an inspiration to all women out there.

  6. I would recommend "Suddenly, Last Summer." Its based on a Tennessee Williams play and is very intense and dark. Elizabeth Taylor isn't used just for her pretty face or figure in this film, she is a real actress. Its amazing. "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" is also a brilliant film. She is older but it has her starring opposite one of her famous ex-husbands, Richard Burton. They are both wonderful. You should check them out. :)
