Urban Decay Oz Theodora Palette - $50
I heard about this palette via a Youtube video. When I went to Sephora to look at a few things I wasn't planning on purchasing this palette however, when I saw it I knew I had to get it! And I don't regret it one bit. I absolutely love this palette. If you have brown eyes you must get this! It brings out my golden tones in my brown eyes and the green shadows make my eyes pop. It also comes with their zero 24/7 eyeliner and a lip pencil in red (it's an orange-red). I love the lip pencil- it's creamy and smooth and has amazing pigmentation. I am now addicted to the eye liner as well- it lasts all day!
Victoria's Secret Nakeds Palette- $25?
I purchased this a few months ago - I think in November. As you can tell, I have been using this quite frequently. Most days, I go for a nude look for the eyes. This palette is perfect for that. The shadows give off great pigmentation and last all day w/primer. The only complaint is that there is a lot of fallout due to the shadows being shimmery. My tip is to place a tissue underneath the eye while applying the shadow and it won't get all over- hassle free!
Nars Blush in Orgasm: $28
This is a cult blush, it is quite popular among beauty blogs and Youtube videos. I don't know why I didn't get it sooner. Maybe because of the price, I was afraid? However, for the price I don't regret purchasing it at all. It gives off a gorgeous natural glow on my cheeks. I use bronzer to couture my cheekbones and then apply this blush. After that I apply Benefit's What's Up on top of the cheekbones. I say with this combination I am glowing!
Mac Lipsticks: From Left to Right: Viva Glam V, Bombshell, Creme Cup. $15 each
Mac Lipsticks are probably one of the best higher end lipsticks at a decent price. I love these colors for everyday and have been wearing each one quite often. Excellent pigmentation and last for a long time!
Lada Gaga Fame Perfume - $55
This is my favorite perfume at the moment. I bought this as a Birthday treat. I got the holiday set on sale (for only $38!). I got the larger size bottle, rollerball and body wash in the kit. I say for only $38 it was a great deal! If you haven't smelled this perfume (I will quote from the description on Sephora): Enriched with tears of belladonna, a black veil of incense, and pulverized apricot, this fragrance may cause illicit fits of extravagance, unrivalled rushes of adoration, and prolonged moments of ecstasy and rapture.
Belladonna, Incense, Apricot, Honey Drops, Tiger Orchidea, Jasmin Sambac.
I am not too good at describing fragrance- so hope that helped!
Current Skin Care Favorites, Olay - $7, Loreal - $25
I am not too big of a skin care junkie. Usually when I find a skin care line that works I stick to it. However, I was looking to start using anti-aging products. Olay and Loreal have treated me well in the past so I knew to start there. I love the Olay foaming cleanser. It is creamy, moisturizing and feels good on the skin. It makes my skin soft and smooth. The Loreal Serum is AMAZING! I have dry skin so my skin can feel rough or not so smooth. This makes my skin feel so soft and smooth and helps my moisturizer seep in more. Also, I have seen a difference in any acne scars or discolorations. I will definitely be buying this again. They have two versions- Youth Code Serum Intense (featured) and Dark Spot Correcting and Illuminating Serum. I think I might try the Illuminating serum next time!
I know this time I have a lot of beauty favorites. One, because I haven't done one since last year! And two, I have been buying a few beauty products lately. I also cleaned out my makeup drawer and completely organized it. I feel so much more organized now! If you want a beauty organization post, please comment below!
