Current Beauty and Skincare Favorites!
MAC Studded Kiss - Punk Couture Collection
This has been my most favorite red of the moment. It is a gorgeous blue red and makes my teeth look super white! I have received numerous compliments on it. If you can still find it, I would totally recommend it for Valentine's Day!
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
I instantly wanted to get this as soon as it came out. When I had some birthday money, I went over to Sephora to immediately purchase. I have been using it ever since (about a week). I have used about almost every color in the palette and not one disappoints. The pigmentation is amazing. They powder/glitter does not fall as much as the first one, which is so nice! I don't have the second one so I can't compare that one.
YSL Spring 2014 Color Palette
When I saw this online, I knew it was a must have. When I first tried it, I was so disappointed that the colors did not show up- even with primer! Then I gave it another go, after finding that YSL eye shadows perform better wet. So I did, and must I say, WOW! When applied wet, you get the exact color shown. They also last all day and have such a beautiful shimmery effect. Not glittery at all, which one would think looking at the palette (very glittery).
Glam Glow Hydrating Treatment and Shiseido Wrinkle Resist Eye Cream
Another birthday splurge. I heard rave reviews of the brand Glam Glow but they only had masks for oily or combination skin. When they came out with this hydrating treatment, I instantly put it on my wish list. I have used it twice already this last week. It has an instant "cooling" effect when I put it on (great for the summertime!) and is definitely moisturizing. It also cleanses the skin very well. Afterwards my skin feels very clean but not striped of moisture. LOVE!
I have been looking for a great night eye cream that would effectively hydrate my dry under eye area and prevent wrinkles. It's never too early to start anti aging products! There were nothing but positive reviews on Sephora's website for this Shiseido product, the sales clerk even said she loved it. I have used it for about a week now and I love how soft, creamy, and hydrating it is. I don't feel a tingly or burning feeling, which is a plus for me! My under eye area has definitely become more hydrated since using this! I do have very fine wrinkles underneath my eyes, but I can't say yet if it's helping in that department.
So, there you have my current beauty favorites!
