How to Dress at A Festival In Your Late 20s

To The Festival

Shorts: JCrew, Dress: TopShop, Shirt: JCrew, Handbag: Debenhams, Hat: Old Navy, Necklace: Forever21

Summer is right around the corner. Festivals, county fairs, and summer concerts are going to be booming.

When I think of festival fashion, pictures of girls dressed in crop tops and cut off shorts come to mind. I say if you have the body, why not flaunt it, right? However, that's not always the option.

For me, I have never had the booty or abs to wear "booty shorts" and crop tops together. Also, in your late 20's it might not be as age appropriate to wear such clothing. Or you just choose to be more modest!

I love a good pair of shorts with a denim top. I adore the shorts above because they have that bohemian feel but it's not overdone. These shorts have a 3 inch inseam and are from JCrew. If you prefer a longer length, JCrew carries a 5" inseam chino short that I highly recommend. They are very flattering if you have a curvier bottom!
I just love the dress above from Kate Moss's collection at Topshop. You can always carry a cardigan or wrap if it gets chilly or you just want more coverage. Pair with ankle booties, sunhat, and a western style cross body and you're set!

You can even wear these outfits to the fair, outdoor concerts or any other summer event! Summer is the season for having fun, so why not look fashionable while doing so!

What would you wear to a festival?
